Elite is powerful tool in the treatment of various skin conditions. A portable solution, this 308nm Excimer UV-light System has its illumination technology based on the XeCl. The main function of the machine is to induce T-cell apoptosis and improve the pigment synthesis. The level of its effectiveness makes it a preferred method of treatment of serious skin conditions like Vitiligo, Psoriasis and various forms of dermatitis. The treatment procedures are fast, with an overall short treatment course and there are notably less adverse reactions.
The main convenient of this system, which is the portable variation of the Elite Pro, is that it allows the operator to use the 308nm excimer UV-light to selectively treat lesions, even when they are extensive. No healthy skin is damaged during the treatment process and the level of total irradiation is minimized, with nominal exposure to UV light. The results of the treatment are very noticeable and only a few weeks of regular procedures will eliminate the symptoms of several months. The patients will experience no pain, there is virtually no down time.
Additionally the smaller size and simplified usage make this machine a more efficient option than an excimer laser, plus the operational costs are relatively low.
How it works:
The light source of the Elite is a Xe atom forming an unstable bond with a Chlorine atom, under the influence of an electrical field. The Xe passes an electron to the Cl atom, which activates them, and in the process of forming this bond, a single-rate excimer light is released.
